At Welton Academy, students are expected to be disciplined and to conform. Welton's parents want their children to achieve academic excellence, regardless of their dreams. I compare this to “Trophy Children” referring to kids who are groomed to be an achievement for their parents. By demonstrating the process of making a trophy resembling the “model citizen”, transitioning into getting locked in a school trophy cabinet, I want to reveal the irony of the prestigious academy subconsciously producing trophy children.
